Remove crust from bread and cube. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 13x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cut into squares to serve. *This is best if prepared and refrigerated the night before then baked in the morning. Grandma's Biscuits (How Jen Does It) 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 stick butter 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 cup milk Combine all dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add milk. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Cut 12 biscuits. Bake at 425-450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Banana Bread (How Jen Does It) 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups very ripe bananas, mashed (about 3 1/2 bananas) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 butter milk 2 eggs, well beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cups chopped nuts, optional (I always leave these out) In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients, set aside. In a medium bowl, beat eggs, add bananas and beat until smooth. Add vanilla extract. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add banana mixture, beat until well combined. Add dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray or oil. Add batter. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes then turn out and cool completely. This is best made the day before and wrapped in plastic wrap and then foil.
